The Town of Woodside Town Council consists of five members elected by-district for a four-year term by the voters of Woodside. The General Municipal Election on November 5, 2024 is being held for three open seats for full four-year terms ending 2028 in the following Districts:
- District 1
- District 4
- District 5
Town Council Candidates
Any member of the public who wishes to run for public office must:
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of California
- Be a registered voter of the Town of Woodside
- Be a resident of District 1, 4 or 5

Write-In Candidates
The filing period for write-in candidates is Monday, September 9, 2024 through October 22, 2024. Write-in candidates must make an appointment with the Town Clerk to obtain and file Write-In Nomination Papers, the Statements of Write-In Candidacy and other required documents between those dates.
Write-in candidate names and information will not appear on the ballot or in the Voter's Guide.
