This notice advises members of the public that the Town's draft 6th Cycle Housing Element (2023 to 2031) is available for review prior to its submission to the State Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) for State-level review and comments.

Draft 1 Housing Element for Housing & Community Development (HCD) Review

The draft Housing Element and Appendices for the Town of Woodside were transmitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on July 17, 2022.

Draft 2 Housing Element Submitted to the Housing & Community Development (HCD) for a 60-Day Review Period

On October 14, 2022, HCD provided written comments on Draft 1 Housing Element to be addressed by the Town. The Town Council received public input and discussed the comments from HCD at the Town Council meetings of December 13, 2022, January 10, 2023, and January 31, 2023. On January 31, 2023, the Town Council provided direction to Town staff to revise the draft Housing Element in response to HCD’s comments and submit Draft 2 for HCD review.

The draft Housing Element and Appendices for the Town of Woodside were transmitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on July 17, 2022 (Draft 1).
