The Town has received reports of fake malicious emails not originating from the Town but targeting the Town’s related contacts and demanding payment via wire transfer. If you receive an email requesting payment and it appears to be from a generic Town email address, please verify with Town staff before making payment.

Overview

The Town of Woodside Building Department is responsible for reviewing and issuing permits for private and public construction projects for compliance with the California Building Code, Woodside Municipal Code, and other relevant codes. Work typically reviewed and permitted by the Building Department includes structural, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, accessibility, and other elements of construction projects.

The Building Department strives to provide excellent customer service and responsiveness to our residents and project applicants.

Building Permit Submittals

Submittals should be emailed to the Building Department. Submittals are accepted once an application is submitted, and fees are paid. Fees are paid by cash or check.

Building Inspections

Inspections can be scheduled on the eTRAKiT portal, by calling 650-851-6796 or emailing the Building Department. When scheduling an inspection, provide the property address, permit number, and the inspection type. Please schedule your inspection 72 hours in advance.

    8 am to 1 pm
  • Sunday
    No work allowed
